Consulting Lawyer, Corporate & Commercial

If you are a highly skilled, self-driven lawyer with large law firm and/or significant in-house experience and would like a more flexible work arrangement, Blakes has a terrific opportunity for you. We are currently looking for lawyers who can fill client assignments, ranging from supporting a project to more senior roles. You may also have the opportunity to work within Blakes on an ad-hoc basis, supporting or joining teams for fixed term periods.

In particular, we are looking for lawyers with expertise in the following areas:

• M&A
• Commercial contracts
• General corporate advisory

Key Requirements:

• Called to the Bar of Ontario
• Licensed by the Law Society of Ontario
• Excellent academic credentials
• Detail oriented
• Able to multi-task
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Client-service focused
• Three or more years of experience an asset
