Location: Toronto, ON - (Remote) Pay Rate : $85.20/hr - $100.56/hr Contract Length: 6 months with a possibility of extension

Responsibilities

Develops a thorough understanding of the various distribution channels by establishing and enhancing relationships Promotes and delivers effective tax and estate planning (TEPG) advice to our sales team and key distribution partners Delivers and promotes sales tools that support Financial's products, proprietary financial planning concepts, and speciality needs analyses, including legal and compliance issues Experience working with High Net Worth Clients and their own allied professional (accountants and lawyers) to identify tax-planning opportunities related to their estate, wealth, business succession and business continuation planning Consults in the creation and deployment of consumer/allied advisor reference materials Delivers training workshops and associated materials for financial advisors. Delivers client seminars and associated materials Involvement in case development, including case research and special illustration Participates in industry profile-building activities Keeps current, through research, on tax and estate planning issues

What do you need to succeed?

Minimum of 5 years' of professional experience within the financial services industry. Strong knowledge of personal and corporate tax planning background, including but not limited to such tax planning areas such as Retirement Compensation Arrangements, charitable gifting, wills and trusts, and the dynamics of business ownership and succession planning. Excellent understanding of industry trends and their implication on achieving business sales results/objectives. Experience and comfortable working in the High Net Worth Market. Strong organization and analytical skills Excellent presentation, facilitation and training skills Strong interpersonal and influencing skills Strong verbal and written communication skills Strong knowledge of personal and corporate taxation CPA, LL.B or FCIA designation Completion of the CICA In-depth Tax Program and the In-Depth Tax Issues for the Owner Manager Business course (considered an asset)
