Our client, a global company, is seeking an experienced commercial lawyer to join their team as Senior Legal Counsel in a role that will drive their privacy, AI governance, and data use programs across Canada. This strategic role will partner with senior business leaders to ensure responsible data use, regulatory compliance, and ethical innovation while supporting business growth and protecting stakeholder trust. The ideal candidate will have: 7+ years' experience in privacy, compliance, and/or data governance matters Knowledge of AI governance, emerging technology risk, and responsible AI practices Experience advising on privacy impact assessments and risk assessments If you're passionate about building a career in this evolving area and working on projects to enable innovation, this is an excellent opportunity to join an industry leader in a role with global reach.
