Articling Land Surveyor - Field

who has experience in the Legal Oil/Gas Survey sector and has the desire to grow and learn with an innovative, forward-thinking company.

The Work:

• Out-of-town work. Mainly Alberta, but some BC and Saskatchewan work may be required.
• Legal and construction surveying
• Line locating
• Spatial surveying- drone and 3D laser scanning
• Field calculations
• Familiar with GNSS/GPS networks, total stations, levels, etc.
• Quality Control of field data and calculations
• Work will be on green field and brown field sites
• Understanding of Land Survey drawings and Western Canadian Land Tenure system
• Ability to work unsupervised from home using CORE's virtual system

What you bring to the table:

• Strong focus on relationships, both internal and external to CORE.
• The desire for excellence in all that you do.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills
• The ability to liaise with clients
• Creativity
• A degree/diploma from a Technical College or University in Geomatics
• Five years of experience in legal oilfield surveys
• Experience with construction surveying would be an asset
• Experience working with Land Surveys
• Valid Drivers License
