Family Law Clerks
Although we are not currently actively seeking to hire a law clerk, we are always happy to receive an application from friendly and enthusiastic Toronto family law clerks with a minimum of 2+ years of family law experience. So feel free to apply!
Duties
Drafting legal documents Drafting correspondence Liaise with process server to serve and file court documents Schedule appointments and maintain appointment calendar Coordinate arrangements for meetings/conferences and Court appearances Maintain files/records with a high level of organization PCLaw accounting Other duties as required
Requirements
Graduated from a recognized, accredited law clerk program in Canada; Friendly and positive attitude; Must have a working understanding of family law rules and procedures in Ontario; Exceptional time-management skills and an attention to detail; Strong written and verbal communication skills; Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Acrobat, PCLaw, and DivorceMate; A solid work ethic is crucial and attendance; Some billing and accounting admin work; Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment.
