Role: Investment Funds Attorney (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout:$80 - $105/hour

Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Funds Attorney to draft, review, and negotiate legal documents related to investment funds, including fund agreements, side letters, and subscription agreements. The role involves ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements and managing fund-related legal matters.

Key Responsibilities: • Draft, review, and revise fund documentation, including offering documents, limited partnership agreements, and side letters. • Provide legal advice on fund structuring, regulatory compliance, and investor relations. • Collaborate with fund managers, compliance teams, and external counsel to address legal and operational challenges. • Conduct due diligence on fund investments and assess legal risks associated with fund transactions. • Maintain up-to-date knowledge of evolving regulations affecting investment funds and private equity.

Required Skills & Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school. • Active membership in a state bar association in the United States. • Minimum of 3 years of experience in investment funds, private equity, or related legal practice. • Strong proficiency in drafting and negotiating complex legal agreements. • In-depth knowledge of fund formation, compliance, and regulatory frameworks.
