Job Description What is the opportunity? RBC Royal Trust is looking for a proven leader, who will drive strong client service initiatives and deliver on the day-to-day operations of a dedicated team to achieve business goals. As Director, Client Service & Risk Management for Indigenous Wealth, you will lead and drive the strategic initiatives for the indigenous trust team of RBC Royal Trust, allowing us to continue to deliver exceptional client service. Responsible for the management and growth of the Royal Trust Indigenous Wealth team, nationally Lead the implementation of risk management initiatives (Example: Dashboard management, business acceptance). Ensure implementation of client centric service models for the region Assists the Leader of the Indigenous Wealth team to manage the overall National indigenous wealth team by providing direction, technical support, coaching and development of employees to provide quality client service and improve business profitability and reduce business risk A team player, manager and leader at the regional and local level who will also be responsible for improving business growth with internal and external Centres of Influence (COIs). Coach and role model key behaviors of top performers (e.g., putting clients first, collaborating as partners, develop others, prioritizing for impact, etc.). Develops relationships within RBC network and community partners Promotes the collaboration between the team, RBC network and Wealth Management partners. Successfully maximizes the deployment, productivity and effectiveness of all team members for greatest gain in revenue and client loyalty in their market. Works closely with our National Office Professional Practice Group and Risk and Regulatory team to ensure compliant business practices Must Have 5+ years of proven leadership excellence preferably in Indigenous Trust Advanced knowledge of trust products and services Strong communication skills and exceptional service to clients Passionate about working with indigenous communities Ability to accelerate business results Exceptional operational and risk management Ability to execute business goals in a timely manner Strong people development skills Be based out of Vancouver, Calgary, Ottawa, Toronto, or Winnipeg and willing to travel as needed Nice to Have TEP (Trust & Estate Practitioner) Law Degree What’s in it for you? The expected salary range for this position is $100,000 to 150,000. You have the potential to earn more through RBC’s robust discretionary bonus program which gives you an opportunity to increase your total compensation, provided the business meets its performance targets and you meet your individual goals.
