About the Role: As a Lease Administrator, you’ll play a key role in managing the lease lifecycle for over 400 locations across our network. From reviewing rental documentation and ensuring lease compliance, to coordinating with landlords and supporting legal processes, this role is critical to maintaining strong landlord relationships and operational accuracy. You'll thrive in a fast-paced environment where attention to detail, organization, and initiative are essential.
Key Responsibilities Review and approve Opening Rental Advice Notices for new locations and ensure that terms of lease agreement are met. Review and send out Rental Advance Notices (RANs). Review year-end reconciliations (YE Reconciliations). Reconcile outstanding accounts relating to rentals. Review Tenant Improvement Allowance (TIA) provisions and coordinate required supporting documentation. Review and revise the Landlord’s Estoppel Certificates. Draft, distribute, and track Statutory Declarations. Review and negotiate pylon sign agreements. Help new franchisees onboard. Deposit requests – calculate, request and track on Monday.com. Ensure the Lease terms are being followed by Landlord (i.e. Admin fees, capped amounts etc., Deposits) Communication with Landlords and franchisees regarding various Lease matters. Coordinate lease documentation for franchise transfers. Request Certificates of Insurance. Draft Agreements to Lease (ATLs). Track ATL/lease conditions using Monday.com and meeting notes. Prepare condition waivers and extensions. Update lease status and key information on Monday.com. Manage the leasing inbox.
Required Skills and Qualifications 3+ years’ experience with a commercial retail tenant or landlord Proficient using Excel at a high level Strong communication skills Strong math and calculations skills Must be able to work in a fast-paced environment with minimum daily oversight Must be self-motivated Previous working knowledge of Monday.com is an asset
What We Offer Salary between $70,000 and $80,000 Benefits package 5 paid sick days
