Title: Contract Specialist Location: Waterloo, ON (Hybrid) Duration: Permanent, full-time Salary Range: $80,000 - $100,000 per year
JOB DESCRIPTION Insight Global is seeking an excellent candidate to join a a global leader in digital imaging, machine vision, and sensing technology as a Contracts Specialist. In this role, you will support the drafting, review, negotiation, and administration of a wide variety of commercial agreements. Working closely with cross-functional teams including Sales, Marketing, Customer Service, and Legal, you will help manage customer, supplier, distributor, OEM, and confidentiality agreements while ensuring compliance with corporate policies and effective risk management practices. This position also supports contract lifecycle management, proposal and tender reviews, audit activities, contract template maintenance, and resolution of contractual issues. The ideal candidate is a highly collaborative, detail-oriented professional with strong contract negotiation and relationship-management skills, experience working with contract lifecycle management (CLM) tools, and a high level of technical proficiency. They should possess exceptional organizational and communication skills, demonstrate initiative and accountability, and have a strong desire to learn and grow within a fast-paced, global technology environment while driving matters to completion in a timely manner.
REQUIRED SKILLS AND EXPERIENCE
- 1–3+ years of experience in contract administration, review, negotiation, or a related role
- Experience with Contract Lifecycle Management (CLM) platforms such as Conga (preferred), DocuSign, Ironclad, Agiloft, or similar
- Strong technical aptitude and proficiency with Microsoft 365, with the ability to quickly learn new systems
- Ability to review and interpret contracts, identify risks, and support issue resolution
- Excellent organizational, written, and verbal communication skills with strong attention to detail
- Eligible to obtain Controlled Goods Program (CGP) clearance
- Bachelor’s degree, diploma, or equivalent post-secondary education in a related field Must be eligible for CGP (controlled goods program) Clearance

- French or Dutch speaking
