About the role
Role and Responsibilities
- Handling a book of business of small business accounts up to $20K in premium.
- Responsible for up-selling and cross-selling initiatives on book of business.
- Maintain up-to-date awareness of renewals and account receivables on a monthly basis.
- Collaborate with clients to identify and implement insurance solutions tailored to their evolving needs.
- Establish and maintain strong working relationships with insurance underwriters.
- Effectively plan and execute daily tasks in accordance with specified deadlines.
- Ensure consistent adherence to Commercial Lines Standard Operating Procedures.
- Live the “ROCKiT” Values of isure.
Qualifications And Education Requirements
- Post-secondary education or equivalent experience.
- Minimum of 2 years’ experience in commercial insurance, specifically in property/casualty and commercial automobile.
- RIBO Licensed (Registered Insurance Brokers of Ontario) required.
- Designations such as CAIB, CIP, or CRM are considered an asset.
Skills/Abilities Required
- Proven ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks efficiently.
- Strong numerical, analytical and organizational skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Creative problem-solving skills and the ability to think critically and innovatively.
- Working knowledge of Vertafore SIGXP and general proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuous professional development and learning.
