PROFILE
This person is responsible for the processes and actions required to manage real estate properties in the context of hypothecary recourses and, to that end, uses a sophisticated computer system that enables them to manage a large number of files. This person manages a portfolio of files and works independently, while receiving guidance to ensure the quality and compliance of the work performed.
RESPONSIBILITIES
- Review the files and provide the necessary instructions for managing real estate properties, and perform any other related tasks as needed (i.e., managing rent collection, insurance claims, and the payment of certain invoices).
- Liaise with all internal and external parties involved with the file, including preparing various correspondence.
- Monitor certain stages of the files, dealing with any issues that may arise.
- Receive and review reports and correspondence and follow up as needed.
- Prepare reports and enter all information related to real estate property management into the various software programs and platforms used.
QUALIFICATIONS
- Experience in mortgage recovery and/or real estate property management.
- Legal Administrative Assistant or Administrative Assistant Diploma/Certificate or an acceptable equivalent combination of academic training and relevant experience.
- Ability to communicate effectively with other Firm members, with the aptitude to take care of clients’ needs in a professional and courteous manner.
- Capacity to work independently, as well as in a team environment.
- Produce a high quality and quantity of work product, occasionally under tight timelines.
- Ability to prioritize and to redefine priorities when necessary.
- Ability to handle stress in a business-like manner.
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite.
- Bilingualism (French/English) required
