Position: Corporate/M&A Attorney

Role Responsibilities

Review, analyze, and annotate complex corporate, M&A, and financial documents with a focus on compliance and data privacy standards. Identify and address areas of Personally Identifiable Information (PII) exposure, documenting best practices for anonymization and sensitive data handling. Leverage industry knowledge to provide guidance on the structural identifiability of content, ensuring compliance while preserving data utility. Support the development of training materials and resources that reflect current regulatory and compliance frameworks in M&A and corporate law. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve data processing protocols and mitigate re-identification risks within proprietary workflows. Deliver detailed written and verbal feedback to optimize the accuracy and relevance of legal content interpretation for AI training.

Requirements:

Have a minimum of experience with PII compliance, particularly in financial or corporate settings. Demonstrate expertise in mergers & acquisitions, sensitive document handling, and data privacy regulation. Be proficient in identifying both direct and structural PII risks within various types of corporate documentation. Exhibit meticulous attention to detail and a commitment to compliance, with a proven ability to generalize or omit sensitive content as necessary. Have experience drafting, reviewing, and revising legal documents related to financial transactions and corporate governance.
