Role Description The HR Assistant provides administrative and operational support to the Human Resources Manager and assists with a variety of HR functions, including employee onboarding and offboarding, record keeping, staff events, and general HR administration. The successful candidate will be highly organized, proactive, and able to manage confidential information with discretion and professionalism. Key Responsibilities: · Administration of firm policies and procedures. · Support employee communications and engagement initiatives. · Assist in planning and coordinating firm events, employee recognition programs, wellness initiatives, and social activities. · Assist with pre-employment activities, including but not limited to: Maintenance of job board ads, Pre-screenings, and Interview booking. · Assist with onboarding activities, including but not limited to: Prepare new hire documentation package, Prepare onboarding packages, Coordinate office and systems setup for new employees, and Conduct new hire orientations. · Track employee information and other HR-related data. · Participate in and support the firm’s Health & Safety Committee. · Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications: Diploma or degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Commerce, or a related field. 1–3 years of experience in an HR, administrative, or professional office environment. Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and Teams.
