About the role

Education: Bachelor's degree. Law (LLB, JD, BCL). Asset languages: Inuktitut. Work setting: Private company, corporation or industry. General law practice. Tasks: Advise clients of their legal rights and all matters related to law. Draw up legal documents and prepare statements of legal opinion. Negotiate settlements of civil disputes (lawyers only). Prepare wills, real estate transactions and other legal documents, court reports and affidavits. Handle probate to certify the validity of a will. Certificates, licences, memberships, and courses : Membership in a provincial or territorial law society. Area of work experience: Law. Work conditions and physical capabilities: Attention to detail.
