Role Overview
Our Vancouver office is currently recruiting for a Resource Assistant, reporting to the Human Resources Manager (Vancouver). The Resource Assistant plays a key role in our firm by completing diverse administrative tasks to assist our team of Lawyers and Legal Assistants. The Resource Assistant is a high energy, results-oriented individual with ambition to drive the administrative demands to ensure continuous and consistent support to the business.
The Successful Candidate Will Be Responsible For
Document scanning, printing, photocopying, binding, tabbing. Maintaining files (electronic and physical), including creating folders and saving documents in iManage, file folder labeling, file closings. Drafting cover/service letters and coordinating deliveries. Entering dockets into Intapp Time Preparing expense reports, third-party invoices, and trust receipts. Internal (non-client) boardroom booking. Maintaining accurate updates in the workflow system to track and monitor requests. Other duties and responsibilities as they may be assigned.
The successful candidate must have the following education, experience and/or demonstrated skills:
Post-secondary education in legal administration or equivalent. Minimum of 1 year of experience providing administrative support required, preferably in legal or another professional services environment. Advanced in Microsoft Suite, including Outlook and Word. Strong administrative skills with exceptional attention to detail. Excellent organizational and time management skills to meet tight deadlines. Ability to manage multiple priorities, work under pressure, and adapt to changing situations. Excellent interpersonal skills, customer-service oriented with exceptional communication skills. Ability to take initiative, work with minimal supervision as well as work as part of a team. Willingness to learn new firm software, embrace innovation and process improvement.
Employment Type: Permanent, Full-Time
This is a full-time in-office position working Monday to Friday
Salary Range: $51,000 - $56,000
