About the role
Nature & Scope of Position
This role will be accountable for managing and executing contract and price strategies across all businesses at CHS for individual/SSO/ GPO/Distributor contracts in Quebec. The successful candidate will deliver contract excellence using performance analytics, dashboards and process improvements to drive efficiencies and support business initiatives.
General Duties & Responsibilities
- Responsible for Contract Life Cycle Management (LCM) for contracts/pricing agreements for all customers in Quebec
- Manage Contract Expirations and Individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor Contract Amendments, etc. including all contracting (new and renewals)
- Lead analytics and contract needs for Individual/SSO/GPO/Distributor contracts and pricing
- Manage KPI for price renewal activities and its financial impact to CHS
- Collaborate with Marketing, Legal, Finance, and Field Sales to both strategically and tactically manage contracting needs
- Enforce the team’s adherence to ICU Medical policies by promoting, developing and monitoring Standard Operating Procedures
- Identify and pursue projects to enhance contracting and operational efficiencies
- Work on special projects as assigned
- Participate in contract strategy meetings to identify issues and client requirements, pricing discussions, and provide input on timelines and deliverables.
- Provide customer-facing contract sales report, as applicable
- Review contractual performance of both parties to ensure compliance with terms and to identify conflicts or changes requiring resolution at contract renewal.
- Investigate pricing discrepancies to determine root cause and implement corrective action to reduce repeat escalations
Knowledge, Experience & Education

Significant knowledge base in and experience with the medical device business, Customer base, and GPO landscape

Bachelor’s degree in business, healthcare management or related field preferred.

Minimum 3 years work experience in a contract management role, such as purchasing, contracting and/or pricing management

Ability to thrive in a high volume, fast-paced environment

Strong analytical and problem solving skills with attention to detail and concern for data accuracy

Strong negotiation and interpersonal skills required

Excel at managing competing priorities and juggle multiple projects simultaneously

Language Skills

Must be proficient in written & spoken English and Canadian French

Strong verbal and written skills, and ability to convey complex information in a way that others can readily follow
Technical Skills

Working knowledge of MS Office suite (Outlook, Word, Power Point, etc.) including advanced Excel functionality. (formulas, data search, pivot tables, etc.)

Proficiency in utilizing and interpreting financial models and analyses

Ability to systematically analyze complex problems, draw relevant conclusions and implement appropriate solutions

Working experience in Microsoft Dynamics 365 an asset
Salary Range - $68K- 70K per year
