Our client is one of the largest service providers in Canada in the transportation, distribution logistics, industry and has a job open for Corporate Risk & Compliance Investigator to be based out of their office in the Milton -Mississauga - Brampton, ON area. This is a hands-on corporate investigation role responsible for investigating Payment Frauds, Shipment Frauds, Onboarding Frauds, Asset Protection / Employee Frauds and Similar from start to finish, preparing clear case summaries, and working with Forensic analysts. This requires 4 days a week in office.

The role will focus on: Conducting fraud investigations related to customers, employees, claims, payments, shipments, and internal processes. Fraud investigations, evidence review, case management, investigation reporting, Collecting and reviewing evidence from systems, records, claims, customer files, transaction details, and other business information. Preparing clear investigation summaries, timelines, case notes, and files for leadership, audit, legal, or external review. Working closely with internal external parties, asset protection, fraud analytics, claims, operations and similar. Identifying fraud trends, control gaps, process concerns, and areas where risk can be reduced.

Corporate Risk & Compliance Investigator will have minimum of 5-7 years of experience in analysing corporate risks within the transportation, logistics, warehousing industry, investigate corporate frauds and works towards preventative measure. Post-secondary education in Criminology, Criminal Justice, or a related field is preferred. CFE, CPP, or CAMS preferred
