Cobbett & Cotton Law Corporation is one of Burnaby’s longest-established law firms and has served the community since 1954. Our office is conveniently located near Hastings Street and Willingdon Avenue in the Burnaby Heights neighbourhood. We are seeking an associate lawyer to join our established solicitor practice. The successful candidate will have an interest in residential real estate and the opportunity to develop a broader practice based on the candidate’s experience and interests. The Ideal Candidate Will be a member in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia; have three to five years of post-call experience; have experience in, or a strong interest in developing, a residential real estate practice; demonstrate sound judgment, strong attention to detail, and the ability to manage files independently; work effectively and collaboratively with lawyers, paralegals, and support staff; possess strong interpersonal and client-service skills; and demonstrate business acumen and an interest in building client and referral relationships within the community. Requirements

Candidates must be members in good standing of the Law Society of British Columbia and have three to five years of post-call experience. They should have experience in or a strong interest in residential real estate, sound judgment, attention to detail, independent file-management ability, strong client-service and interpersonal skills, and an interest in building client and referral relationships.
