Job summary
4-6 Years | Calgary Our client, a leading international company operating across the food, agriculture, and manufacturing sectors, is seeking a Legal Counsel to support its operations throughout Canada, the US, and Latin America. Reporting directly to the Chief Legal Officer, this role offers the opportunity to work closely with commercial and operational teams on a broad range of matters, including commercial contracting, regulatory and compliance issues, corporate governance, risk management, and dispute resolution. The successful candidate will have strong experience in commercial law, either from private practice or in-house, excellent drafting and negotiation skills, and the ability to provide practical, business-oriented legal advice in a fast-paced, multinational environment. Experience supporting cross-border operations and fluency in additional languages such as French, Spanish, or Portuguese would be considered an asset. This is an excellent opportunity for a proactive lawyer looking to take on a broad legal mandate with significant exposure to international business operations.
