Role summary / description Yaletown Law is hiring a Senior Legal Assistant to support our busy corporate and estates practice. You'll keep corporate records current, move estate and probate matters through to completion, and give our lawyers the confidence that every detail is handled. Success means deadlines met, documents that go out clean the first time, and files you run with minimal oversight. This role works directly with our corporate and estates lawyers and interfaces with clients, courts, and registries — ideal for a senior assistant who wants substantive work in a collegial firm that respects your expertise and your time. Responsibilities Maintain corporate records and minute books; prepare resolutions, consents, and share transfers Complete incorporations, annual reports, and filings through BC Registries / Corporate Online Prepare and file probate and estate administration applications under WESA Draft, format, and proofread legal documents and correspondence to a high standard Manage calendars, limitation dates, and filing deadlines Communicate professionally and discreetly with clients, courts, and registries Open, organize, and maintain physical and electronic files Qualifications 5+ years as a legal assistant, with corporate and/or estates experience Legal administrative assistant diploma or equivalent experience Excellent verbal and written communication skills Strong proofreading and attention to detail Ability to manage competing deadlines under pressure Discretion with confidential and sensitive matters Proficiency with MS Office and legal software (Clio, PCLaw, ALF, or similar)

Requirements
