The ideal candidate will have at least 5 years of experience handling residential real estate transactions, wills and estates matters, and related solicitor work. Responsibilities Handle residential and commercial real estate transactions Draft and review agreements, closing documents, and related legal paperwork Prepare wills, powers of attorney, and estate planning documents Assist clients with estate administration and probate matters Provide practical legal advice tailored to client needs Maintain strong client relationships and deliver excellent client service Work collaboratively with lawyers and support staff across multiple practice areas Manage files independently while maintaining accuracy and efficiency Qualifications Licensed and in good standing with the Law Society of Ontario Minimum 5+ years of relevant experience in real estate and wills & estates law Strong drafting, analytical, and organizational skills Excellent written and verbal communication abilities Ability to manage multiple matters and deadlines effectively Client-focused, professional, and team-oriented mindset Experience with estate administration and probate matters is an asset Bilingual English/French skills are considered an asset
