Location: Etobicoke, Ontario Job Type: Full-time About The Opportunity Our client, a well-established and growing law firm, is seeking a Personal Injury Litigation Associate Lawyer to join its litigation practice in Etobicoke. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer who is eager to build a career in personal injury litigation while working closely with experienced litigators on a wide range of PI matters. Key Responsibilities Conduct legal research and provide strategic recommendations. Draft pleadings, affidavits, factums, motions, and other litigation documents. Assist with all phases of the litigation process, including discoveries, motion practice, trial preparation, and hearings. Develop case strategies in collaboration with senior attorneys. Represent clients in court proceedings, mediations, and other litigation-related matters, as appropriate. Maintain regular communication with clients and provide timely case updates. Ensure all work is completed accurately and within applicable deadlines. Qualifications Licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing. 1-3 years of personal injury litigation experience preferred. Experience drafting litigation documents, including affidavits, factums, pleadings, and motions. Exposure to examinations for discovery and other stages of the litigation process. Strong legal research, analytical, and written advocacy skills. Excellent organizational, communication, and time management skills. Ability to work both independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced legal environment. Work Arrangement Hybrid schedule with a minimum of three days per week in the Etobicoke office. Remote work flexibility on the remaining days.

Requirements
Must be licensed to practice law in Ontario and in good standing; one to three years of personal injury litigation experience is preferred. Candidates should have litigation drafting experience and exposure to discoveries, along with strong research, analytical, written advocacy, organizational, communication, and time-management skills.
