Dipchand LLP is seeking a detail-oriented and proactive Litigation Assistant to support three partners while ensuring the smooth day-to-day management of complex litigation files, with exposure to intellectual property and trademark matters. The ideal candidate is highly organized, adaptable, tech-savvy, and thrives in a fast-paced environment where every day is different. Responsibilities Support three partners on complex litigation matters Prepare, compile, format, index, and electronically file court documents Manage litigation files from active matters through file closing, ensuring documents remain organized and up to date Coordinate court deadlines, filings, schedules, and communications across multiple lawyers Maintain document management systems and ensure files are complete and accurate Assist with trademark administration and trademark file management (training provided where required) Communicate with clients, courts, and external stakeholders Provide general administrative and litigation support as required About You 2-3 years of experience as a Legal Assistant supporting litigation matters Experience preparing court documents and supporting court filing processes (Federal Court experience is considered a strong asset) Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail Comfortable managing complex legal files and document management systems Excellent written and verbal communication skills Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced professional services environment Proficient in Microsoft Office Experience using legal document management systems such as iManage, NetDocuments, or similar platforms is considered an asset Interest or experience in intellectual property or trademark matters is considered an asset, but is not required The Extras That Matter Join a firm that challenges the status quo and embraces innovation Compensation starting at $65,000 annually depending on experience plus bonus 3 weeks' vacation plus office closure during the December holidays On-site gym, golf simulator, bar, and pool table Collaborative and social office environment with regular team-building opportunities
