Key Responsibilities Manage Wills & Estates files from start to finish. Meet clients independently and provide practical legal advice. Draft Wills, Powers of Attorney, and related estate documents. Review and explain documents to clients. Conduct legal research and ensure compliance with applicable legislation. Manage deadlines, follow-ups, and client files. Work with legal support staff while maintaining responsibility for files. Meet a monthly collection target of approximately $20,000-$25,000. Requirements Licensed and in good standing with the applicable provincial law society. Proven experience independently managing Wills & Estates files. Strong experience drafting Wills and Powers of Attorney. Confident conducting client meetings and providing legal advice. Strong communication, drafting, organization, and client-management skills. Comfortable working primarily in-office and meeting clients in person.
