We are seeking a Lawyer with 3+ years of experience across multiple practice areas, including construction law, insurance law, civil and commercial litigation, arbitration, and related legal matters. The ideal candidate will have strong legal research, drafting, and advocacy skills, sound judgment, and an interest in handling diverse matters while developing their practice. Responsibilities Manage a variety of legal matters involving construction, insurance, civil litigation, commercial disputes, and arbitration. Collaborate with experienced counsel on complex litigation and arbitration proceedings. Independently manage files from pleadings through resolution. Draft and negotiate contracts and provide legal advice on construction projects. Prepare, file, and enforce builders' lien claims. Advise clients on insurance coverage and represent insurance policyholders. Handle commercial disputes, including shareholder disputes and real estate-related matters. Provide legal advice on Indigenous development and infrastructure matters, professional regulatory issues, mediation, and arbitration, as appropriate. Build client relationships and contribute to business development and practice growth. Qualifications 3+ years of legal experience. Experience in one or more areas, including construction law, insurance law, civil litigation, commercial litigation, or arbitration. Strong legal research, drafting, oral communication, and advocacy skills. Sound legal judgment and attention to detail. Ability to manage files independently and collaborate effectively with a team. Eagerness to learn, handle diverse legal matters, and develop professionally. Interest in client relationship management and entrepreneurial practice development. Candidates based outside Vancouver may be considered for remote arrangements.
