Associates will work on a broad range of litigation files while receiving mentorship and increasing responsibility with autonomy over their practice development. Responsibilities Handle litigation matters involving municipal defence, historical abuse claims, motor vehicle litigation, and medical malpractice Draft pleadings, motions, correspondence, and legal opinions Conduct legal research and assist with litigation strategy Attend discoveries, mediations, hearings, and court appearances Manage files effectively from intake through resolution Communicate with clients, insurers, experts, and opposing counsel Work collaboratively with lawyers and support staff on complex matters Qualifications 3+ years of litigation experience Insurance defence experience considered an asset Strong advocacy, communication, and analytical skills Ability to manage files independently and work within a team environment Motivated, detail-oriented, and eager to grow within a litigation practice Transferable litigation experience will also be considered
