Role: Corporate Counsel (Remote) Location: Remote (Work from Anywhere) Job Type: Contract Payout: $100 - $200/hour Role Overview: We are hiring for one of our clients, seeking a Corporate Counsel to work on a contract basis. The role requires advising on corporate governance, compliance, and strategic business decisions. You will support high-impact legal initiatives while collaborating with cross-functional teams. Key Responsibilities: • Provide legal counsel on corporate governance matters, including board and committee matters. • Draft, review, and negotiate commercial contracts and agreements to mitigate legal risk. • Advise on regulatory compliance, licensing, and corporate filings in multiple jurisdictions. • Lead due diligence processes for potential business transactions and partnerships. • Develop and implement policies to ensure adherence to internal and external legal standards. Required Skills & Qualifications: • Juris Doctor (JD) degree from an accredited law school is required. • Active membership in at least one state bar with relevant experience in corporate law. • Experience drafting and negotiating complex commercial agreements. • Strong understanding of corporate governance frameworks and compliance regulations. • Ability to analyze legal risks and provide actionable solutions to business stakeholders.
