What we are looking for:

The intern will be responsible for supporting our legal teams in their various tasks, including ensuring compliance with securities legislation, doing legal research, drafting and reviewing contracts, policies and other legal documents, as well as negotiating contracts.

Your responsibilities :

  • Ability to analyze and synthesize information;
  • Thoroughness in writing and other communications;
  • Ability to work as part of a team;
  • Outstanding judgment;
  • Autonomy and initiative;
  • Organizational skills and ability to manage work priorities.

Must have requirements to be successful in this role:

  • Hold a bachelor’s degree in law;
  • Have passed or be in the process of passing the Quebec Bar exams;
  • Possess sound knowledge of, or interest in, securities legislation, including legislation applicable to investment funds and the associated regulations;
  • Have a basic understanding of business and finance;
  • Be fluent in written and spoken French and English.
