As part of its commitment to promoting equality, diversity and inclusion in the professions and assisting those who have experienced harassment and discrimination, the Law Society of Ontario is seeking a Paralegal to act as an Alternate to the Discrimination & Harassment Counsel (DHC). The Alternate will act as a resource and offer confidential advice and assistance to members of the public, licensing candidates and licensees who may have experienced discrimination or harassment by a licensee.
Appointed by Convocation, the Alternate will apply their knowledge of human rights to act as a resource, and to offer confidential advice and assistance to individuals who believe they are the victims of harassment or discrimination.
This part time position will assist individuals across Ontario. The Alternate will be appointed for a one-year term and is eligible for reappointment.
