If you answered YES to the above questions, then we have an amazing opportunity for a Legal Assistant in the Litigation practice, in area of Health Law, Personal Injury and Insurance.
As the Legal Assistant for one of London Ontario’s largest firms you must have the ability to work independently as well as part of a team with an emphasis on delivering excellent service to our clients, excellent organization, verbal and written communication skills, and be able to multi-task.
WHAT WE OFFER:
- Shift: Mon-Fri.- In office
- Competitive Salary: $50,000 to 60,000K
- Location: London Ontario

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES FOR THIS ROLE:
- of retainers and directions, and primary contact between team and client
- Answering calls
- Paper and electronic filing and file maintenance in the DMS
- Use of 3E and InTapp Workflow for docket entries, cheque requests, scanning requests etc.;
- Preparing accounts with enclosure letters to clients, depositing cash receipts and payment of invoices
- Time docket entries
- Accurate transcription of dictation and/or handwritten notes and proofreading
- Maintaining an effective BF system including new entries into the system stemming from dictation
- Transmission of documents through the CMPA Portal and updating HLP
- Transmission of documents to LPIC using LawPro Extranet
- Compiling motion records in preparation for service – knowledge of bookmarking and links (training provided)
- Scanning documentation when required.
WHO YOU ARE:
- If you have experience in a trial and appellate Litigation practice, in area of Health Law, Personal Injury and Insurance.
- Demonstrate excellent organizational, verbal and written communication skills; be able to work independently as well in a Team environment.
- Having 3-5 years in the Legal Assistant field
- The ability to multi-task and meet deadlines, and emphasis on delivering a high level of professional service to our clients.
