Husky’s Atlantic Region Legal Department is currently recruiting for a first- or second-year law student for Spring 2020. This work placement will take place over 4 months.

The Husky Legal Department supports all aspects of Husky’s Atlantic Region energy business including: commercial agreement drafting and negotiation; litigation; regulatory matters; and environmental health and safety matters.

The successful candidate will be responsible for assisting the Legal Department in matters identified by the legal team.

Core Responsibilities

  • Conducting legal research and drafting memos.
  • Analyzing and revising model contracts.
  • Supporting Atlantic Region Legal Team in various projects.
  • Document preparation under the supervision of Atlantic Region Legal Team.

  • Must be enrolled in a recognized Canadian Law School
