Our Calgary office is currently seeking to grow one of the leading energy transactional practices in the country. As part of the Energy and Infrastructure team, the successful candidate will have broad exposure to a full range of legal issues faced by our energy and infrastructure clients, including: acquisitions and divestitures, project development, public and private M&A, transactional work for the oil and gas upstream, midstream and downstream sectors, renewables, electricity and energy transition work (including CCUS, energy storage and hydrogen), operational and commercial matters, and co-venture arrangements such as partnerships and joint ventures. Skills and Experience Required The ideal candidate will have 3 to 7 years' experience advising clients in a broad range of energy related transactional and commercial matters in private practice or a combined private practice and in-house environment. The ideal candidate will also have exceptional client service and interpersonal skills, strong organizational abilities, willingness to take initiative, and excellent communication skills.
