Job summary
What you will do : * Draft, correct and prepare procedures and correspondence, including letters, contracts, memos and notes relating to files; * Participate in the various stages of litigation, including service of proceedings or other documents, preparation of exhibits and proceedings books, authority books, management and updating of the lawyer's and court's agenda; * Search the various public registers (REQ); * Maintain electronic and physical files in a rigorous manner; * File, digitize and archive documents; * Work in close collaboration with other assistants; * Perform administrative tasks (opening and updating files, expense reports, time entries, organizing meetings and travel, invoicing, photocopying, etc.); * Perform all other related tasks associated with the position. What we're looking for : * Diploma of Vocational Studies (DVS) in secretarial or Diploma of Collegial Studies (DCS) or in paralegal technology (any other combination of relevant training/experience will be considered); * Experience in legal secretarial work (an asset); * Thorough knowledge of the Windows environment; * Proficiency in Office suite (Word, Excel and PowerPoint); * Excellent command of spoken and written French; * Skilled in planning and managing various files; * Ability to manage tight deadlines; * Good communication and customer service skills; Organized and autonomous; * Sense of responsibility, speed of execution and initiative; * Versatility, flexibility, team spirit and ability to work under pressure; * Availability to work overtime when necessary.
