Our client is now looking for an exceptional mid-level associate to join their prestigious Energy practice group in the Calgary office. This team provides premier advice and legal services on all aspects of energy-related private mergers, acquisitions, divestitures, and complex project development transactions. Their expertise encompasses project structuring, co-ownership arrangements, operations, marketing, supply/off-take transactions, and new developments involving industry leaders, as well as both established and emerging independent producers and operators. Qualifications and Attributes: 4-8 years of post-call experience in corporate/energy law from a reputable law firm, or a combination of private practice and in-house experience in oil and gas, power, and renewables, including private mergers and acquisitions, joint ventures, and project development. Extensive transactional experience, including proficiency in drafting and negotiations. Strong academic credentials with above-average transcripts. They must have extensive transactional experience, strong drafting and negotiation skills, above-average academic credentials, a collaborative and client-service-oriented approach, and qualification to practice law in Canada.
