A well-established and highly respected Calgary law firm is seeking a Corporate Solicitor with 4-6 years of experience to join its growing Corporate/Commercial team. This is an excellent opportunity for a lawyer looking to build a sophisticated corporate practice while working alongside experienced practitioners on complex and high-value transactions. The successful candidate will work with a diverse client base, including financial institutions, private businesses, investors, and entrepreneurs. What You'll Do Advise clients on a broad range of corporate and commercial matters. Draft, review, and negotiate commercial agreements and transaction documents. Assist with financing transactions, secured lending, and financial services matters. Support mergers, acquisitions, reorganizations, and corporate restructurings. Provide strategic legal advice to clients across a variety of industries. Build and maintain strong client relationships while contributing to business development efforts. Qualifications 4-6 years of corporate solicitor experience. Experience in corporate/commercial law, with exposure to financial services or banking matters preferred. Strong drafting, negotiation, and analytical skills. Excellent communication and client relationship abilities. Active membership, or eligibility for membership, with the Law Society of Alberta.
