Position Overview Future Electronics is seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented Legal Department Assistant to support our Legal Department in Montreal. Reporting to the Corporate VP, Legal & General Counsel (Americas & EMEA), this position plays an essential role in managing legal tracking systems, monitoring open matters, generating reports, and supporting department operations. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys working with data, Excel, reporting tools, and administrative processes while maintaining confidentiality and accuracy. Responsibilities Maintain and update the Legal Department's tracking spreadsheets and reporting tools. Monitor open matters, identify outstanding items, and follow up with internal stakeholders. Generate reports, summaries, charts, tables, and status updates for the legal team. Organize and maintain legal files, records, contract information, and department documentation. Use Excel and Microsoft Office applications to support reporting, tracking, and process improvements. Assist with the responsible use of AI-enabled tools to improve efficiency and productivity. Provide administrative and operational support to the Legal Department as required. Handle confidential and commercially sensitive information with discretion. Qualifications and Experience Strong proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including organizing, filtering, and summarizing data. Experience with Microsoft Office applications, including Word, Outlook, PowerPoint, and Teams. Comfortable using AI-enabled productivity tools. Highly organized, reliable, and detail-oriented. Strong follow-up and time-management skills. Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to manage multiple responsibilities and deadlines. Fluent in English and French is preferred. Previous administrative, operational, internship, or office experience is considered an asset. No legal training is required.
