Job summary

The ideal candidate will ensure the smooth running of the office and effective case management by providing legal services under the supervision of an attorney. This individual will communicate frequently with clients to serve them adequately. Additionally, this candidate will conduct necessary case research to aid the legal proceedings. Job Responsibilities : Prepare and manage refugee matters, including comprehensive documentation and submissions. Prepare disclosure packages for the Immigration Division (ID), Immigration Appeal Division (IAD), and Refugee Appeal Division (RAD). Prepare and review BOC (Basis of Claim) forms to ensure accuracy, completeness, and alignment with supporting evidence. Manage end-to-end immigration matters for multiple concurrent applicants. Facilitate the gathering of documentation and the preparation, review, and filing of immigration applications. Prepare responses to immigration governing bodies such as IRCC and ESDC. Prepare and submit LMIA applications to ESDC. Apply immigration knowledge strategically and proactively drive process improvements. Take ownership of the quality, compliance, and technical accuracy of all work. Set priorities, develop work schedules, and closely monitor and track case progress.
