The ideal candidate will possess the following qualifications: A genuine passion for Family Law with excellent communication and mediation skills. Strong self-motivation and confidence, with the ability to work independently and manage responsibilities with minimal supervision. Proven experience in a Family Law environment, including the ability to handle 25+ files independently. In-depth knowledge of the Family Law Act and experience with Children’s Aid Society (CAS) matters. Proficiency in filing Family Court documents. Willingness to work with both Legal Aid and private clients. Good standing with the Law Society of Ontario. Excellent organizational skills, with the ability to manage a high volume of work efficiently. Creative problem-solving skills, with the ability to think outside the box and find innovative solutions. Experience with legal software (familiarity with Amicus is an asset) and comprehensive file management. This position is best suited for an individual with a minimum of 2 years' experience practicing Family Law.Please note: This is a fee-split opportunity for a self-employed individual, with the flexibility to work both in the office and remotely.
